New Beauty Trend: Using Lipstick as a Concealer

Every single day, professional makeup artists and amateur bloggers come up with 1001 new ways of becoming even more beautiful… or scaring the neighbors. For example, the social networks now display the photos of girls with bright lipstick going far beyond the lips – even under and above their eyes. Do you think it is the next stupid beauty trend? No, it is a trick that many women can find useful!

There is no limit to perfection. Anyway, this is the opinion of every girl who wakes up earlier in the morning to diligently apply a concealer, a corrector, and a foundation on her face and then cover everything with powder. Some flaws will definitely remain visible. Especially pronounced are the dark circles, small acne scars and pigmented spots. But a woman cannot afford losing the battle for beauty! So, resourceful beauty gurus came up with a secret weapon: bright lipstick hides all the flaws. It’s amazing, but it works!

Still, there is nothing to be surprised at because it’s all about the laws of color. Since circles under the eyes and traces of acne usually have a bluish or brown color, it can be neutralized with the opposite shades: red and orange. Since correctors of such an exotic range are represented only by professional and actor’s makeup, you can resort to a simple and budgetary option, which is already present in your cosmetic bag – a lipstick. The main thing is to choose the right color, based on your skin tone.

For example, women with very light skin can use red lipstick with a pinkish semitone as a concealer.

Girls with a neutral tone of the skin can hide undereye circles under red lipstick with a purple hue (for example, the classic “Hollywood” red color, a la Monroe).

Tanned beauties should pay attention to coral or even orange lipsticks. After all, circles and scars are more often very dark on the darker skin, so they need to be made more yellow.

Everyone will be able to master this lifehack. To begin with (before makeup), apply a good moisturizing cream to the delicate skin around the eyes, let it be absorbed and then use the primer so that the lipstick pigments do not come into contact with the skin directly. As for the problem areas, apply the lipstick, gently blend it (you can use a beauty blender or a soft brush for shadows), and add a layer of concealer on the top. If the lipstick is still visible, use a foundation.
