Eyes can say a lot. And sometimes even too much. For example, they can say that their lovely owner could not sleep until dawn or drank too much tea before bed. If you do not want to share this personal information with others, it is recommended to use an effective serum against dark circles and swelling. We’ll show you a simple and affordable recipe.
Many women suffer from bags under their eyes or dark circles the size of a saucer almost from school age. The most depressing thing is that even expensive drugstore cosmetics are not always able to deal with this small but annoying disadvantage. However, even when you seem to have tried everything, a positive result can be achieved with the help of a simple and affordable product. For example, a homemade coffee-based serum. There is no magic, it’s simple: caffeine accelerates the flow of lymph, thereby eliminating puffiness and lightening the skin. In addition, the oils included in the composition care for the delicate area around the eyes and smooth the wrinkles.
To make a homemade serum for dark circles and swelling under the eyes you will need:
Half a cup of ground coffee;
- Almond oil;
- Avocado oil;
- A small bottle with a pipette or metal roller
Step 1: the longest one
Put half a cup of ground coffee into a glass jar and pour over the almond oil. There should be enough oil to cover the coffee. Close the jar and leave it in a dark place for 4-5 days.
After 4-5 days, the oil will be well soaked in the coffee essence. Now you need to pour it into a small bottle. Use gauze as a filter, for the coffee particles not to get in your serum, or they can scratch the delicate skin around the eyes.
Add one tablespoon of avocado oil, close the bottle and stir well (for a long time!), until the oils are completely blended.
You can add a couple of large coffee beans into the bottle. They will continue to saturate the oil with caffeine, and are simply pleasing to the eye.
For best results, store the serum in the fridge. Especially if you chose the bottle with a roller. Apply in the morning, at least 20 minutes before makeup. With regular use, even pronounced dark circles get a little lighter in a couple of weeks. Besides, the coffee scent has a great invigorating effect in the morning!
